Think of a forest and it's natural layers. There is the deep dark soil from which all arises, and goes back to in the Life cycle. It's rich with life that has been before, and is constantly ready to arise after. This is the Vast Emptiness, the Dazzling Dark, that you've probably heard about before. With existance, as with Earth, there is a 'soil' from which all is arising and going back to, in it's own life cycle. Soil, and Emptiness, are extremely simple, yet deep forms of existance, for this is where all is accepted, processed, decomposed, reconstructed. From this nothingness, everything comes forth. From this emptiness, we arise like everything else. Like a tree planted in soil, our personal self, our entire existance, gave birth from this emptiness. Now, like a tree, we must keep strong deep roots with the soil we arise from, to grow as healthy aware beings. Here is where humanities problem lies. This is what is trying to be explained to you, through philosophies and life lessons. What would happen to a tree that doesn't have it's roots firmly planted in the ground if a wind storm came? Would it not be torn off the ground, with the wind throwing it in the direction it wished? Do you not feel when life gets hard that you are being thrown around aimlessly? Do you not feel that you are a mystery to yourself, to what life is about? Do you not go about the world trying to feel connected somehow? This is your being, your life, trying to ground itself back into it's roots. We are so disconnected, we are trees that think we don't need soil to grow. But we do. We will learn this sooner or later, the hard way if not the easy. Now the question arises; How does one ground the self? How do we ground our roots firmly into the soil to grow connected? For one, even if you don't understand the emptiness, even if you have never come accross it just yet, know that it's there. See, there may be obstalces that you have to get out of way to become sensitive to it once again. Some of us have denied it's existance so long, we have piled rocks and concrete on top of it, built an artificial greenhouse to create a sense of safety or shelter, or life. In other words, we've created perimeters in our existance of what we will accept and not accept for our reality. We limit people, subjects, even certain experiences, so that we can continue to think we are fine. But everyday it becomes more clear that we are not. and it's time we all had some fresh air. So the first step, is to observe, and maybe initially scrutinize your life. Put yourself out there to what your normally senstitive to , to what you fear, avoid, become uncomfortable with. Become aware of your emotional response, how it creates strong checmical reactions within yourself urging you to respond, but don't. If you pull through, you will see that it was all nothing more than a mechanical response, a behavioral pattern you created as you created the shelter of what you now consider to be yourself. See, its' very likely that you grew up unaware that you were doing this, because this is how you were brought up, this is what you were surrounded with. You were taught to react and then identify with these reactions, and depending on which ones you reacted the most with, and define them as yourself. This is misidentification. Nothing labels you. It is simply an emotional reaction that can arise within you, like any other emotion, be it love, hapiness, despair, or peace. No difference. All chemical reactions arising in your body according to existance. Might be easier to read, but when you begin to become more aware of all the emotions you're constantly arising within yourself, when you being to experiment with your reaction, or holding it back, here are the lessons, that will help you come to the truth of yourself. Here is where you begin to lightly crack the concrete. Remember as your getting to know yourself, the point is to become aware of who you REALLY are. This journey of reconnection will not be easy. It may last days, months, years, or even lifetimes. I can't tell you how long the Journey will last, or how much chaos you may encounter. I don't know how much baggage you carry or what lessons you have chosen to learn through your self. As from the soil arise a grand variety of plants and life, that his how much variety there is between the personal existance of each. Some of us are old trees, some of us are just born sprouts. Just give it your best. Keep digging until you find the soil, and when you do, sink your toes into the mud, sink your being deep deep, connect with it, let it remind you what it is to be truly alive, what has true meaning. What is truth. From it you arise, and to it you will return when you cease to exist as a personal self..and ...The suprise..how you will come to understand this personal self you now define as yourself, because like emotions you will come too see how much of you it really is, and if it is really you at all. I now wish you an amusing journey in your play with eternity. Bon voyage! ;-)
